Terms and Conditions

1. The Jackpot is based on thirteen (13) pre-selected football events.
2. The cash prize for the Jackpot at Ksh. 500,000.
3. Jackpot bets can be placed via SMS and online on www.shabiki.com
4. You can place unlimited entries per Jackpot; each bet costs Ksh.50.
5. You win when all your 13 predictions match the games’ outcomes.
6. Guaranteed winner every week, even on coupons that do not have the requisite 13/13, we pay out to the closest
customer.
7. The Jackpot prize is equally shared among all the winners.
8. In rule 6 (above), when the jackpot has multiple winners, there may be circumstances, depending on the number
of winners, where a winning customer’s final payout may be less than the stake placed.
9. There are no bonuses for this jackpot.
10. Bonus money or free bets cannot be used to place Jackpot bets.
11. Jackpot bets are accepted before the scheduled kick-off of the first match. A jackpot cannot be canceled or
amended once placed.
12. If a match is abandoned or postponed from its scheduled date/time but is rescheduled to take place no later than
the advertised kick-off of the last game on the Jackpot list, all selections will stand.
13. Any entry(s) after the jackpot has closed shall be considered an entry(s) to the following available jackpot
product.
14. Where one (1), two (2), or three (3) games are canceled, suspended, or voided, the result of the games played will
determine the winner of that coupon.
15. Where three (3) or more games are canceled, suspended, or voided, Shabiki may, at our discretion, cancel the
Jackpot and refund the stake placed within 24 hours of the cancellation.
16. The results of all matches are settled on the result at the end of standard time (90 minutes plus any allocated
injury time). Results after extra time and penalty shootouts are not included.
17. Official Jackpot results will be posted on Shabiki social media platforms.
18. Shabiki reserves the right to verify the winners identity and ascertain that the individual claiming winnings is the
rightful holder of the account in question, with relevant authorities and identification documents presented before
final payments are made.
19. The period for claiming large amounts is ten (10) days. After this period, Shabiki may deem the prize forfeited
unless the period is extended at our discretion in consultation with the betting industry regulator.
20. Shabiki reserves the right to use the names, video, audio, radio, or other recordings, motion, and still images of the
winner for publicity and marketing campaigns.
21. Shabiki reserves the right to withhold a part or all the prize money won until the prize presentation ceremony.
22. Shabiki reserves to pay the whole amount of any prize share to a winner by a cheque or bank transfer.
23. All Jackpot winnings are subject to a withholding tax of 20% in accordance with the Income Tax Act under section
35 (1) (i), (3) (h). The tax shall be deducted from your winnings and collected by us for remittance to the Kenya
Revenue Authority (KRA).
24. The jackpot will run from Wednesday, 1st February 2023.
25. By playing the jackpot, you are deemed to have accepted the T&Cs.
